Collaboration between Zappos & Sperry with the Musician Josie Dunne to fight against the Epidemic of Ocean Plastic

The very popular footwear brand known for its innovation and dedication for the sea, Sperry, and Atlantic recording artist who is well known for her dedication & passion for the sustainability of oceans, Josie Dunne have collaborated with Zappos.com to release their new edition of shoe which is limited and made with Bionic yarn which is basically made from the plastic which gets recovered from coastal & marine environments.

Steven Bautista, who is responsible for leading the Charitable giving at Zappos, passed the following statement: “At Zappos, we believe you should be the kind you want to live in—and that belief extends to our relationship with the amazing planet we’re humbled to call home. We value our teamwork with Sperry to help promote a kinder shoe that can help keep our oceans cleaner and happier.”

The Chief Marketing Officer at Sperry, Kate Minner stated: “Waterkeeper Alliance is dedicated to keeping our waterways clean, and, as a brand born on the sea, it’s a cause that’s very important to Sperry. Working with Zappos for Good and Josie Dunne on this exciting, limited edition footwear will benefit this amazing organization and help raise awareness about the issue of ocean pollution.”
