Experian purchases U.S. based healthcare specialist, MyHealthDirect


In charge of providing revenue cycle management, patient engagement and care coordination solutions for medical providers, hospitals and other bodies, Experian Health has bought MyHealthDirect. MyHealthDirect, a startup birthed in Nashville, focuses on optimizingarrangement and care organization for theirclients. In short, it is responsible for coordinating healthcare facilities.

The company has not publicized the terms of the agreement with MyHealthDirect.

A frontrunner in revenue cycle management space, Experian Health, presents a variety of data-enabled facilities and gears for providers, pharmacies and labs alike. As stated by the firm itself, it works together with hospitals more than 3,400 in number and 7,300 various other healthcare institutions.

Founded in 2006, MyHealthDirect’sinnovative technology leads patients to the correctkind of healthcare and allows real-time planning via any digital access method, including the internet, call centers, and in provider workplaces. This system allows for increased timely access to healthcare, meeting the increasing demand for self-service. The firm has introduced a SaaS model which allows finer care coordination.

Experian Health and MyHealthDirect have been working together for a couple of years as a reseller and supplier of their software creation.

“Across all of our businesses, Experian puts the consumer first,” said Jennifer Schulz. “That mindset drives the solutions we bring to clients and consumers because when you get that right, everything else falls into place. MyHealthDirect has been operating on that same premise, and together we will bring to market the solutions that connect and simplify healthcare.”

Schulz is Experian Group President overseeing Experian Health. The fact that MyHealthDirect’s produces raise appointment and referral rates, increase efficiency, and lead to a decrease in the number of no-shows, has been highlighted as the advantages for the firm’s revenue cycle management services and the ability the keep a check over patients having long-lasting ailments.
