Host ships Docked on Qatar’s bay to host the fans of the 2022 World Cup


To help accommodate around one million soccer fans throughout the world cup in 2022, cruise liners will be most likely docked in Qatar.

The approximate 3 million inhabitants of the Gulf nation have launched plans to provide accommodation and host the huge inflow of supporters by providing floating accommodation. On Tuesday, an agreement was signed with MSC cruises and the native organizing committee to charter two liners with a capacity of 4000 cabins each.

Hassan al-Thawedi acknowledged that they were happy to contribute to the irregular lodging possibility for fans in 2022 by collaborating with the MSC cruises. They were determined that fans will be enraged with the idea of staying on board a cruise ship but they will have swift access to stadiums and fan zones. Charges were not confirmed although £600 are charged per person on an MSC cruise.

Adequate lodging has been promised by the committee and alcohol will available at prohibitive prices and prohibitive places. It MAY be available more easily. Throughout the month, the ships will be docked at Doha Port.

Qatar’s lodging formula has long been to charter cruise liners for tourists or such as it is one of the best sustainable solutions.

No official statement or announcement has been made about whether or not alcohol will be available onboard or not. Shuttle buses will be available to fans for transportation to the metro. As it will be the most sufficient, viable and economically feasible for the visitor and the government as well. Other lodging solutions such as studio and regular apartments, fan villages with tourist attractions with the city have also been acknowledged by the committee.
